This Eucharistic miracle took place in Ferrara, Italy, in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Vado, on Easter Sunday, March 28, 1171. While breaking the consecrated Host during Easter Mass, Fr. Pietro da Verona, saw Blood gushing from It, sprinkling the vaulted ceiling above the altar with droplets. There were many eyewitnesses who told of seeing the Host take on a bloody color and of having seen the figure of a Baby in the Host. In 1595, the ceiling was enclosed within a small shrine and is still visible today. Eucharistic Adoration is held in memory of the miracle. Every week at the Holy Mass and Adoration, we are present to witness and partake of the Body and Blood of Christ. May He strengthen your faith and may you grow in virtue. May He grow our Church and may we be His instruments in the world. God bless you.
