EUCHARISTIC MIRACLE OF THE WEEK--Seefeld Austria. During the Holy Thursday Mass in 1384, an arrogant nobleman named Oswald Milser expected to receive a large Host like that of the celebrating priest. But at the moment he was about to receive Communion, the pavement began to tremble and broke open. Oswald grasped the altar so as not to fall, and the priest immediately retrieved the Host from the man's mouth. The trembling stopped, and living Blood began to flow from the Host. There were many witnesses of the miracle, and very soon the news spread throughout the whole nation. The Emperor Maximillian I was a very devoted to the miracle. Today one can visit the Church of St. Oswald where the precious relic of the Host, stained with Blood, is exposed, and can also view many paintings depicting the miracle. May we approach Communion with reverence and love in our hearts for Our Eucharistic Lord. May we adore Him at Mass and Adoration. May we always believe in the Real Presence and treat Him with utmost respect
