The Catholic Diocese of Lexington is pleased to announce that it will partner with Housing Development Alliance and HOMES Inc. (a nonprofit organization based in Letcher County) to sponsor the building of four new homes for flood survivors. The houses will be located in Breathitt, Perry, Knott, and Letcher Counties and offer safe, energy efficient, and sustainable dwelling. Beyond providing shelter, these homes reflect our commitment to continue to walk with our Eastern Kentucky families affected by the historic floods of 2022. More information regarding opportunities to get involved in this exciting project, as individuals and parishes, will be provided in the near future.
