The venerable Sr. Maria Celeste Crostarosa founded the Monastery of the Most Holy Redeemer together with St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori in Scala, Italy. Every Thursday the Most Blessed Sacrament was exposed in the monastery for public adoration. From September 11, 1732, for three consecutive months, during solemn exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, signs of the Passion of Christ appeared in the Host contained in the monstrance. All this was confirmed not only by the nuns and the people but also by Bishop Santoro of Scala and the Bishop of Castellamare, and in the presence of St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori. Belief comes as a gift from God bestowed on the heart that seeks it. Come, adore Him and worship Him and let Jesus fill your heart with the blessings of faith, love, and hope in the Lord.
